Hello and welcome to my little corner of the Internet to share my thoughts on the books I am reading.

I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember, my love of reading was inherited from my Mum as she’s also a lover of books. I remember being the first person at Primary School to read The Hobbit (this was a big deal way back then!) and I loved Thursday as it meant a trip to the mobile library! Even more amazing if they had received a stock of new books!!

When I was younger, I was definitely one for ‘chicklit’ but as I’ve got older, again influenced by my Mum I think, I’ve really got into Crime and Thrillers – these are now my go to genres if I’m having difficulties choosing my next read. However, I do like to widen my reading so I’m not just reading about murders, forensics and postmortems!

My favourite authors, in no particular order are Stephen King (who shockingly I only really started reading last year, other than having previously read The Shining which is one of my all time favourite books), Cecelia Ahern, M J Arlidge, Cathy Glass, Mike Gayle, Tess Gerritsen and James Patterson. My favourite books change constantly but those up there are To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, 22.11.63 and The Shining, both by Stephen King, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden and Me before You by Jojo Moyes.

I look forward to sharing my reviews with you!

  1. Hi Clair,

I came across your book reviews on Twitter today and was wondering if you accept review requests.
If so, I have a thrilling mystery/romance novel that may be of interest to you.

    Warm regards,
